Into the Gloamwood

Corrin lives in the sheltered walls of a repurposed ruin, surrounded by quiet forests and apprenticing under the elder healer. She likes her tranquil life, thank you very much, and would claim that she's no love for adventures. But when a plague afflicts Corrin's neighbors and resists all remedies, all that tranquility is turned upside down, and Corrin's peaceful home is in danger of perishing.

Corrin's teacher suggests a last resort: a mysterious fruit from deep within the Gloamwood. Tales tie the Gloamwood to the twilit boundary between life, death, and the starlands, and the fruit is said to be a miracle cure.

The catch: the Gloamwood is deathly dangerous, and few who dare enter are heard from again.

Not at all eager but decidedly desperate, Corrin embarks on a journey to retrieve this cure. To save her home and her loved ones, Corrin will need to venture farther and be braver than she ever knew she could... and perhaps, in the process, discover the astounding kernels of truth buried in all those tales.
