When Jonas moves with his parents from Berlin to the small town of Diersfeld, his world falls apart. Everything is new-the surroundings, the school, the other children. While his parents look ahead with hope, Jonas feels alone, overwhelmed, and misunderstood.

But one night, when he feels especially small, something happens that changes his life: his computer begins to glow. A gentle spark of light appears-and a warm, friendly being steps forward. Its name is Pixel.
