I didn't grow up like other girls. I didn't have boyfriends and go to parties. I didn't really even have sleepovers. You can't have sleepovers when your best friend lives in the same compound as you.

I didn't grow up going on holidays to DisneyLand or having spa treatments with my mom and sisters.

I grew up the oldest daughter of an MC president. I grew up a motorcycle club princess. I was protected and kept safe at all costs. It was wonderful and stifling all at the same time.

Until I met a boy. That boy. The only boy that would ever matter.

And then I lost him . . .


My father didn't love me like most boys' dads did. My father hated me. To my father, I was a pawn to control my mother.

I didn't have friends like most kids did. I didn't have girlfriends, I didn't go to parties. I got a job early and I worked hard every day.

I helped my mother pay the bills, I tried to protect her from my father, and then we ran away and I thought we were finally free.
