Jeff Benson is a lonely man who wants nothing more than to find love, settle down, and have a family. After his relationship falls apart, Jeff turns to Madam Rina, a mysterious voodoo priestess who offers him a dangerous solution: a spell that can summon a woman who will love him and give him everything he desires.

Once Madora enters the world, people begin turning up dead throughout Baton Rouge. Their bodies are strangely decayed, and the police have no explanation for the horrifying deaths. Meanwhile, Professor Joe Hancock, a medical doctor with knowledge of demons and the supernatural, begins to suspect that Madora is responsible. When Jeff's own life is placed in danger, Joe realizes that stopping the creature may require confronting the very supernatural force that brought her into the world.
