Karin Hill, the Infinite Balance Champion, must lead her daughters, Jazz and Kat, back to the realm of their origins, Earth. But the home they left is gone, replaced by a nightmare of black army patrols, mutated creatures, and the insidious "Blackness" that crawls through the airport terminals of Florida.

As the elven oracle Orrea predicted, the Champion's circle is breaking. With two taken, two imprisoned, and four standing hidden, Karin and her companion Remnr must navigate the ruins of their former lives to reach the Lunar Arc Temple. There, a black seed crystal pulses with a power that could rewrite the DNA of the universe itself.
