Two former dance partners. One unfinished last dance. A village full of mischief, music, grief and chosen family.

At seventy-five, Frances Mercer expects life at Seabreeze Gardens to be quiet. Then music draws her into the village hall, where she finds Ed Brennan-the partner who once knew her every step, and the man who never arrived for their final competition fifty-four years ago.

But when a beloved friend nears the end of her life, Frances and Ed must confront failing health, worried children and the truth about the night that separated them. Being sensible may protect their hearts-but it could also waste the time they still have.
