Lewsyn yr Heliwr

Mae "Lewsyn Yr Heliwr" yn glasur nodedig o lenyddiaeth Gymraeg gan Lewis Davies sy'n cynnig darlun bywiog a chynnes o fywyd gwledig Cymru ar ddechrau'r ugeinfed ganrif. Mae'r nofel hon yn canolbwyntio ar hynt a helynt Lewsyn, heliwr lliwgar sydd wedi ymgolli yn nhraddodiadau a thirwedd ei fro. Trwy hanesion Lewsyn, mae'r gwaith yn dathlu diwylliant y werin a'r berthynas glos rhwng y dyn a'r tir.

Wedi'i ysgrifennu ag arddull llawn asbri a hiwmor, mae'r llyfr yn rhoi llais i gymunedau tynn y cyfnod, gan ddefnyddio iaith sy'n adlewyrchu cyfoeth a lliw tafodieithol. Mae "Lewsyn Yr Heliwr" yn archwilio themâu o gyfeillgarwch, goroesiad, a newidiadau cymdeithasol, gan bortreadu byd lle mae hela ac awyr agored yn rhan annatod o hunaniaeth leol. Mae'r nofel hon yn parhau i gael ei hystyried yn un o weithiau mwyaf dylanwadol Lewis Davies, gan gynnig cipolwg gwerthfawr ar etifeddiaeth lenyddol a diwylliannol Cymru. Mae'n ddarlleniad hanfodol i unrhyw un sy'n ymddiddori mewn ffuglen hanesyddol Gymraeg sy'n llawn cymeriad ac awyrgylch.
