Lila and Pickles

One wagging tail. Four mystery seed pots. And a garden full of surprises!

Lila has a wonderful plan: she's going to grow her very own garden with Grampa! With tiny seeds, carefully labeled pots, and plenty of excitement, everything is perfectly organized.

Until Pickles gets involved!

When one enthusiastic wag sends the watering can tumbling, water splashes everywhere, the seed labels disappear, and Lila's perfectly planned garden becomes a mystery.

Now Lila and Grampa must become garden detectives!

Together, they investigate mysterious seedlings, search for clues, discover helpful garden creatures, and learn that sometimes the best way to find an answer is to watch, wonder, and wait.

Along the way, there's a curious woodpecker that Lila insists is a "peckerwood," a mischievous furry assistant who creates more trouble than he solves, and plenty of laughter shared between a little girl and her Grampa.

But as the garden begins to grow, Lila discovers something even more wonderful than flowers and vegetables: the precious memories growing between her and Grampa.

The Garden Pickles Watered with His Tail and Time with Grampa is a heartwarming, beautifully illustrated children's adventure about curiosity, patience, learning together, and the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren.
