Philadelphia estate lawyer Norman Scott is good at everything except staying. When his girlfriend Gretchen finally issues an ultimatum, his therapist hands him a strange prescription: go see the three women who wrecked you. The old-money heiress who decided he wasn't appropriate. The colleague who married the boss instead. The dancer who cheated without ever bothering to hide it.
Norman goes. It doesn't help. So he improves on the assignment.
A dead client has left behind an isolated mountain mansion, a worthless gold mine, and nobody around to object. Norman invites all three women up for the weekend, each one baited with exactly what she craves, and sets out to hand every ex precisely what he believes she has earned. Then Gretchen walks in.
By turns caustic and tender, Loose Ends is a comedy about revenge staged as therapy, and about a man who has to watch his own past detonate before he can learn the one thing love actually requires of him: staying put.
