Despite the relative youth of the Pacific Northwest, its buildings and historic sites are reminders of a rich and colorful heritage. Lawrence Kreisman is author of a number of books on architectural history and preservation, including "Apartments by Anhalt" and "Art Deco Seattle". He is project director for Viewpoints, the Seattle Architectural Foundation tour program, and program director for Historic Seattle.
