Málorvat: The Future Gilgamesh is an eco-science fiction retelling of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Málorvat (Gilgamesh) is a brilliant but reckless cyborg bioengineer on an alien world colonized by humans. His beloved friend, Sajeth (Enkidu), is a human-alien hybrid harmonized to live with that world. Together they set out to destroy the alien forest that is poisoning the human colonists. But its guardian, the alien creature Davshálat (Humbaba), will protect its native ecosystem with its life. Málorvat is presented as a far-future critical edition in "ancient" epic poem form, an illustrated tale with in-universe commentary and over twenty full-color illustrations by diverse artists.
