Marcion Und Sein Apostolos

Das von Marcion herausgegebene Neue Testament (bestehend aus einem Evangelium und zehn Briefen des Apostel Paulus), das unter theologischen Gesichtpunkten in seinem überlieferten Textbestand verändert wurde, ist nur noch in den Werken seiner Gegner bruchstückhaft enthalten.§Für den Teil der Paulusbriefe werden hier (erstmals seit Adolf vom Harnack) die erhaltenen Fragmente rekonstruiert und das Ausmaß der Bearbeitung bestimmt. Davon ausgehend wird eine Theorie zur Sammlungsgeschichte der Paulusbriefe entworfen, in der die von Marcion benutzen Quellen als Teil dieser Geschichte und als Voraussetzung seines eigenen kirchenpolitischen Wirkens gewürdigt werden. In it, the sources used by Marcion are analyzed as a part of this history, and as a presupposition for his own dealings in church politics.
