Martin Cromers Beschreibung Des Königreichs Polen

Martin Cromers Beschreibung Des Königreichs Polen, a historical account by Martin Cromer, Bishop of Ermeland, provides a detailed description of the Kingdom of Poland. Originally written in Latin, this edition presents Andreas Schott's German translation, offering valuable insights into the political, social, and geographical landscape of 16th-century Poland.

Cromer's work is an important primary source for understanding the Renaissance period in Poland. It delves into the kingdom's governance, its interactions with neighboring states, and the customs and traditions of its people. This edition makes Cromer's significant historical work accessible to a broader audience, retaining its value for researchers and anyone interested in Polish history and European history during the Renaissance.
