Max Voltage, a shy eleven-year-old gamer, is used to facing his enemies from the sanctuary of his darkened bedroom. Together, they must escape from the clutches of the Terrasaurs, and their comically incompetent leader, Admiral Tyrannus, who serves the mysterious Overlord, a diabolical ruler who won't rest until he has conquered the Multiverse. And that's where Max's problems really start. You see, whether he likes it or not, Max has been declared the 'chosen one', who will defeat the Overlord and unite the Multiverse in peace.
