When Tony Quinn and Joanie McGlinchey met in a random encounter the day before Christmas Eve 1976, it was love at first sight. Within a year, they had married and were expecting their first child. Almost five decades on, Tony and Joanie's love is as strong as ever ... even though Joanie passed away nineteen years ago. For every morning at ten-thirty, without fail, the couple meet in spirit and spend a few minutes together, a promise they made to each other before Joanie died. These ten-thirty meetings have sustained Tony through years of intense grief, a career in local politics with the SDLP, a stroke, the covid pandemic, and now, retirement. His tender memoir, Meet Me At Ten-Thirty, is a touching tribute to his wife, and a lesson on how we can keep love alive, even after death.
