Most renowned for his arresting sculpture "Falling Leaves", Menashe Kadishman is a highly instinctive and at the same time conceptual painter and sculptor whose works are exhibited at some of the world's most important museums. Born on a kibbutz, Kadishman was a shepherd for many years. This experience informs much of his work, especially his brightly hued sheep's heads and sheep imagery.
