Mini Latin Stories

This book is addressed to everyone at the beginner level in Latin. The book is carefully designed to help any English speaker learn Latin through short stories. The stories are written in such a way that every beginner can learn Latin as naturally as possible. The stories in this book deal with themes of modern life, but they are always narrated through the Latin language.

After each story the reader will find grammar tables with the most common grammar rules in Latin. More specifically, the readers will find grammar tables that explain the present and the simple past tenses of the most common verbs. There are also grammar tables about the first, second and third declension of nouns in all genders (in Latin, there are three genders, masculine, feminine, and neuter). We are aware that this grammar part is usually one of the most challenging ones, and we are sure that by reading it in the correct contexts, it will become much more understandable. In addition, we have added in each chapter exercises of two types: "true or false" and "translate in English" with questions and words regarding the story of each chapter. In addition, at the end of each chapter there are vocabulary tables through which the reader can expand their vocabulary.
