About "Books for Good Paws"

"Books for Good Paws" is a series of engaging and educational stories for children (age 5-8) that inspire a sense of empathy, compassion, and responsibility towards animals. Our books are designed to be more than just entertaining tales. They incorporate valuable life lessons, moral teachings, and educational content. Through storytelling, we strive to impart knowledge, foster a love for reading, and ignite a curiosity for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) subjects.

Our mission is to provide beautifully illustrated stories for children while contributing to the welfare of stray animals in Greece. There are an estimated 3 million stray dogs and cats in the country, and the number is growing. Many of these animals are neglected, abused, and they face starvation disease, and the constant threat of accidents. Despite the tireless efforts of volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time, and personal resources to rescue and care for these innocent creatures, animal welfare organisations in Greece are still struggling to cope with the major problem of stray animals. They do not have enough funding to provide vital medical care, food and shelter for all the animals in need.

With every purchase of our books, a portion of the profits will be dedicated to supporting local animal welfare organisations to provide vital medical care, neutering programs, rescue efforts, food and shelter. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of both children and animals and pave the way for a more compassionate society.
