Ouroboros

The year is 3778. Earth has degraded to a world of deserts, thin oxygen, and scorching heat. Humanity has survived and advanced, now linked together by network chip implants. Those who are somehow freed from the network-the infected-are systematically exposed and inoculated.

Small factions of the infected mount in the vast deserts around the last fertile city on Earth. Led by their fate-bound savior, Charles, they gather in hopes of putting an end to the human network link, forever.

But dangers far greater than the desert-dwellers loom.

A massive solar flare is set to strike Earth. When it hits, all electronics will be wiped out. Humanity will be untethered, and the infection will overtake every last body on Earth. No one will be left to reboot the network and revive the human link; unless, of course, there is someone immune to the infection. Someone from a time long passed. Someone known as the Pure Biologic.

There's only one problem: this ancient human-this "Pure Biologic" -is unsure if helping the advanced human race is in his best interest... at first.

But Humanity is patient. And persistent.

And willing to do anything to survive.
