"A magnificent book!"
"Beyond inspiration. A great read."
"Greenlaw shows us there's no need to slow down as we age."
Palmarès is a French word meaning a personal record of achievements. It's a list. At the age of 27, once his formal studies were complete, Raymond Greenlaw took up amateur sport seriously, focusing on activities that enhanced his life. This book presents his palmarès over a 30+ year period. These activities undertaken worldwide led him on a journey of self-discovery and a discovery of other lands, peoples, and cultures. He hopes this list becomes more than a list to you; it has to him. It represents a commitment to opening up to new challenges, to solving difficult problems, to confronting and overcoming fears, and to living an adventurous, healthy, and fulfilling life. This lifestyle meant creating and following dreams. He knows there's always something waiting around the next corner. Challenges have been a compass, pointing him in the direction of life's path, while providing camaraderie, entertainment, and purpose.
Includes an appendix containing the Gold Standard for Guidelines for Fastest Known Times (FKTs).
