The closest are the Words of life
that build and give -relieving strife
time it takes and earnestness
to walk the halls of forgiveness
The farthest is the hate that tears
the world to shreds and witness there
nothing more divides like hate
the skewed descent into vainest waste
The lightest is the loving eyes
that brightly shine throughout the night
the gleam and sparkle found therein
relieves, the heavy heart rescind
