My point of departure in this project leaned mainly on my experiences as a student of Bachelor of Vocational studies in Home Economics with Education at KyU, as well as a facilitator at the same University and in the same Dept.that I studied from. The various experiences during those years coupled with the kind of pedagogical approaches used by the facilitators of MAVP-10, aroused awareness in me to realise the need for improvement of my practice as a facilitator as well as the general C&T practice in Uganda. The kind of learning in this whole process was based on the Experiential Learning Principle, where learning takes place as individuals try to make meaning from direct experiences. In my case, knowledge has been developed from the process of action and reflection.My being part of the MAVP-10 has opened my mind in several pedagogical approaches which has made me in turn to realise the need to improve my practice. Qualitative approach was used in a narrative form for this study. This kind of approach with the concern of HOW is inspired by Jean McNiff and J.Whitehead's concept of action Research enabled me to analyse and document several possible options for improving C&T.
