Postmaster

Rabindranath Tagore's stories are completely different from other stories of the world and have made Tagore one of the world's leading storytellers. Tagore's stories describe the events and problems of the lower classes of Indian society and it was Tagore who gave this class a place in literature. Tagore observed the living conditions of the poor with great sympathy and attention and presented their conditions through his stories without any exaggeration in such a way that the reader sometimes expresses regret, sometimes gets angry, sometimes laughs and sometimes sheds tears.
