Prom Queen

St. Jude's High was a kingdom built on silence. For years, the golden boys in varsity jackets and the girls with porcelain smiles ruled the hallways with a casual, devastating cruelty. They thought they were untouchable. They thought the freaks in the shadows were just scenery.

They were wrong...

Pip didn't want an apology for what they did to her in the equipment shed... She wanted a transformation, to make her feel strong again. Through her pain she gathered her 'Furies:' the brilliant, cold-blooded Thea, the manic, artistically depraved Didi, and finally the fractured, reluctant Etta she has spent countless in a concrete basement brewing a masterpiece of chemical spite. They call it 'The Seed.' It's a liquid nightmare that turns the human body into a canvas of melting tissue and blackened veins, what should have been a colourful fruity drink was now a ticking timebomb of their demise. And at their Senior Prom, the fountain was their perfect time to showcase their creation.

This isn't just a massacre.... It's a coronation. As the gymnasium doors are chained from the inside and the violet strobe lights begin to flicker, the social hierarchy of St. Jude's is dismantled, limb by agonizing limb. But as the 'Goddesses' execute their perfect harvest, the darkness they've invited in begins to hunger for them, too. In a world where the floor is slick with black bile and the Prom Queen's crown is fused to a scorched skull, only one question remains:

When the music stops, who will be left to wear the crown?
