Pumpkin Spice Scandal

Roxy Bloom agreed to provide the coffee for an exclusive corporate retreat. A live microphone and a dead developer were never part of the order.

Autumn has brought leaf-peeping tourists, pumpkin pastries, and a rush of customers to The Bean Hive Coffeehouse. When powerful developer Caspian Blackwood holds a company retreat at the Honey Springs Country Club, Roxy expects to spend the weekend serving coffee and keeping Aunt Maxi out of trouble. Then Caspian picks up a microphone and is killed by a deadly electrical shock.

A security camera caught Aunt Maxi inside Caspian's private office. A lucrative contract disappeared. A severance package was never delivered. And nearly everyone at the retreat had a reason to want Caspian dead.

With Pepper at her side and Aunt Maxi refusing to stop snooping, Roxy begins digging into canceled business deals, secret property negotiations, and promises Caspian never intended to keep. But when another person connected to his company is murdered, Roxy realizes the scandal reaches far beyond one disastrous retreat, and the killer may already know she is getting too close.
