Stefano Zammartini graduated in Philosophy of Science (1991), at the DAMS (1994) and in Economics (2006). He followed finswimming, first as an athlete, winning more than twenty Italian titles, then leading the national team for five years. Participation in a master's degree in Philosophical Counseling at the University of Venice allowed him to focus on his passion for writing. He published many titles to date following two strands: a four book series based in Paris featuring the main charachters of Mr. Wang and Stefano Tonelli, a Bolognese who has moved to Paris, and a line of writing, such as this novel, following his interest in scientific advancement and the implications for individual lives and power relations. This is his first book to get an English translation.
