In a quest to discover what he didn't know, Cecil sought out black faces and voices who knew the secrets of Tuskegee. Along the way, he encountered a template that he recognized held the formula for healing the racial divide in this nation and elevating the lot of black Americans. That exploratory journey gave Cecil both insights and hope. Insights that he endeavors to bring to a couple of generations of black Americans who have given up on the American dream of a good life for themselves and their descendants.
