Rekindling the Fire

Christians are in desperate need of the fire of God. But so many either don't know what they're missing, or they had the fire and lost it. When passions have grown cold, and when our hearts feel distant from God, we can't allow the embers to go out.

As John W. Nichols (author of Healing is Here) was serving God as a missionary and pastor, Jesus told him that he was a prodigal son. He thought he was doing all the right things, but didn't realize he had left the Father's discipline. Eventually, John felt his zeal for the Lord had become dull. He knew he needed to fan himself into flames again.

In Rekindling the Fire: A Devotional on Returning to the Father's Refining Fire and Who He Created You to Be, the author invites you to join in a journey of rebuilding the foundation and being restored as a manifest child of God. It is a twenty-one-day devotional that will return the prodigal to their loving Abba, remove the snares that have drawn them away, and set ablaze hearts to burn with passion again.

This study will allow the Father to pull up roots, prune away every dead thing, and re-create life. Each day will grow a beautiful garden in your heart. As you fellowship with Him again, the seed of His Word will bear much fruit. With scriptural support, daily prayers, and journaling prompts you will be able to apply the principles of this book to your own life as you come along on the journey.

Weekly Descriptions:

The first week restores the foundation needed to rekindle the fire. We'll come back to Abba, allow Him to remove the things that have drawn us away, and get ready to receive what He has for us.

In the 2nd week will seek restoration of our identity as children of God, and continue to build ourselves up with the following topics:

And go deeper into our calling of following in Jesus's footsteps, reflecting His glory, and living in the destiny of who God created us to be! Get ready to fan yourself into even greater flames with the following topics:
