The quest for knowing more and deep has no limits. Clinical research is being carried out today on a vast scale and variety. The correct application of right research methodology is the need of hour. From the idea of framing the research question to reaching the conclusion of the study, every detail requires meticulous preparation and use of apt statistics pertaining to the research. The research conducted in a systematic manner increases the validity and reliability of the results. This improvises and provides thrust to the rational decision making process. Research should be done in planned and systematic manner. This book discusses about the various research design in relation to the field of prosthodontics, which will be helpful in planning a research. There are still many challenges to be overcome. The future of CDSSs depends on the adoption of evidence-based practice, progress in developing useful programs, the adoption of standards to allow interoperability, the reduction of logistical barriers to implementation, understanding of the complex and changing nature of clinical knowledge, and proper validation of the programs.
