Resistance

Returning home from medical school, Acevea finds her home trashed, along with her twin brother and adoptive parents missing. Evidence points to the Order of Saints Investigation Bureau being responsible for the abduction. Searching her ransacked home takes her to the hidden attic, where she finds a data disk with a message from her adoptive father. Instructing her to take it to the Old World.

Doing as instructed, she makes her way to the Old World while being pursued by agents of the Order of Saints Investigation Bureau. Reaching her destination pulls her into the Resistance she didn't know existed. As Acevea tries to make sense of her new surroundings, secrets about her birth parents, that were kept from her by those close to her, begin to surface. These secrets tie her birth parents directly to the corrupt government and to the Resistance she now finds herself in the middle of.

Amidst the chaos, Acevea finds steady ground in the arms of her long lost childhood best friend, Renha Page. Acevea commits herself to helping Renha with his problems, all the while also trying to unravel the secrets around her and bring down The Order of Saints. A daunting task that will either lead to the start of a new way of life, or drown her in chaos.
