Resolve of the Mage

Caolas is fractured, and has been for longer than they thought. Strathcarron's peerage turned a blind eye to their people, and in the blind spot, they revolted. Now, the council seeks to put down any traces of the revolt at any cost.

Lance has been asking questions. Watching them, noting their movements and words. His loved ones warn him to be careful, to not involve himself. The peerage will strike him down too if they must. All to maintain power. He refuses, and seeks to know the truth, and not just the truth about Strathcarron. Marroll's dreams still plague her. Her sense of the Veil has become stronger, but Weisdale cannot help her in the way she needs.

Weisdale's new Prefects become embroiled within the tangled mess of Caolas' politics, and their own lives, as they seek the truth. They know they are stronger together, and they must be more honest, open, with each other.

The people of Caolas are always thankful for Weisdale's efforts. As Caolas nearly tears at the seams, Lance and his loved ones will stretch themselves thin to protect their home as the Mercenary's Guild still endeavours to hold back the wilds.
