Welcome, Everyone, to Volume 1 of my new exciting series, Savannah: The Westons. The title of this novel is "Ride The Horse'. This book is my 121st published novel. This interesting Historical Fiction, Mystery Thriller is set in Savannah, Georgia. The series tells the story of the long, dangerous feud between the Weston family and the Mack family.
Both families hated each other while they lived in "jolly old" England, and ever since they fled to America with James Oglethorpe to set foot set foot on the sacred land in 1733. Thar land is now known as Savannah. Hundreds of years later the feud is still boiling hot with distrust, jealousy, and hatred.
Carson Weston is head of the Weston clan. They have continued to thrive. Rhett Mack is the head of the Mack clan. The Macks are still the 'poor folks' of Savannah. Each family has three sons and three daughters and nineteen grandchildren. Every member of both families is still living and dying by the senseless feud. The Hatfields' and the McCoys' famous feud is a walk in the park compared to the tussles between the two families. Brotherly love has never existed between the Westons and the Macks.
In every area of the members of the two families' lives, constant problems, life and death situations, constant and destructive anger, and physical violence is the order of the day.
"Ride the Horse' gives you the first glance at the feud's constant problems, evilness, and runaway competitiveness that plagues both families. Financial losses and gains, love, death, extra-marital affairs, lies, deceit, dangerous plots, terribly-poor judgement, and constant, revenge-filled paybacks are on full, never-ending display in the feud.
In my next exciting novels in this series, the feud will continue to grow. Twists and turns will serve to surprise you, anger you, make you hate both families, and also love them.
