As my craziest year in high school unfolded, I learned a lot about mermaids and eventually, I would become one. In my school, Sea Breeze High, I'm not one of those cheerleader types-no way. I'm more of a stay-at-home-and-read-a-book type. So, when Zayne, the cutest guy I've ever seen in real life, invited me to his party, I should have said no.
