The Magic Pot tells the story of an old man who accidentally comes into possession of a magical pot. He shares the rice from the pot with the poor. When a greedy official hears about it, he bullies the old man and tries to take the pot for himself - but ends up being beaten to death by his own father. This story adopts the expressive style of traditional Chinese paper-cutting, combined with hand-drawn colored pencil illustrations. This unique artistic approach highlights the different personalities of the characters. As a classic "treasure pot" folktale passed down orally for generations, the story reveals the old man's selfless spirit and the official's insatiable greed, while conveying to young children a clear message of rewarding good and punishing evil.
