A new Kahlan and Richard adventure from internationally bestselling author, Terry Goodkind. At a dead run, breaking through into an open area of the forest with little ground cover among maple and birch trees, they abruptly ran up on a knot of half-naked people smeared with white ash, all hunched over, around something on the ground.
