Shawna's Cornerstone

The first in a series that examins the questions of philophy and the aftermaths of horrendous actions.

Shawna has been through the various forms of 'the wringer' life could throw at a person. Literally. Being a Skipper for so long could color anyones' perseptions of themselves and the universe. She's also a key.

She's not sure she can trust herself, little lone anyone or anything else around her and she's determined to keep what little she has left as safe as possible. She's also gone through the three phases that any Skipper can go through if they survive long enough. But, this Skip might just be the death of her.

Douglass hasn't had it easy, either. With a history like his, it's amazing he's willing to take chances and have the love and care he wants to give.

Taking a chance this big might backfire and be the death of him. He, too has been through the multiple stages that could signal the salvation or ending of any person on Earth.

But, can the two heal each other and are the balm for each other's pasts? Will a dark movement in the shadows become a night that might end the two of them?

This is the introductory book in a new world called simply 'The Skippers'. Just one of a far-reaching arc of books that will examine the questions of life and love, death and dispare. Each, though, will have an HEA, but each ending of the trilogy section will be a cliffhanger. Shawna's story is just the beginning, and the end.
