The light cruiser Rainbow has gone silent on the edge of the Kilarti Empire. Command can spare exactly one scout. You.
Space Pilot is not a novel you read - it's a mission you fly. Pick one of three ships: the torpedo boat Centurion, the fighter Morning Star, or the interceptor Phantom. Arm it within its energy and volume budget - lasers or phasers, shields, missiles, a jammer, a scanner. Every slot you fill decides which fights you can win.
Then enter Sector Hercules 483-567 and find out what happened to the Rainbow - and what the Kilartians are testing in the dark out there.
How it plays: 105 numbered episodes. At the end of each one, your decision sends you onward. Battles run on one six-sided die, your weapons, and your shield log. Five different endings - two ways to come home, three ways not to.
You need this book, a pencil, and one die. A complete adventure in a single evening - and a different one on the next run.
A restored classic of the Bulgarian gamebook wave, first written in 2004-2005 and now in English for the first time.
