Control is all I have left. After losing my parents young and clawing my way out of foster care, I built my life on flawless vocals and iron discipline.

On stage with Eclipse, I play along with the fanservice-those charged glances and almost kisses with Luca Clark that send the crowd wild and spawn endless "Kuca" edits.

But off stage, he's my nightmare: always late, always smirking, always acting like fame is a game he's already won. When the label demands we fake a relationship to claw back our slipping popularity, I want to refuse.

But the more we pretend-staged dates, scripted touches-the harder it gets to pretend I don't feel the spark. And I hate that most of all.

The stage is where I come alive: lights, screams, the rush of being adored. It's everything I've ever wanted.

With one exception. Kai Jung. He's the rigid perfectionist who treats me like a walking PR disaster.

We amp up the flirtation during shows because it sells, but the second the lights go down, I'd rather punch him than kiss him.

Until management drops the bomb: fake date each other or watch the band implode. Fine. I can act. I can touch him like I mean it. I can lean in, whisper in his ear, make it look real.

But tour buses and shared hotel rooms strip away the act, revealing the guarded man beneath his armor. Breaking through those walls feels dangerous...and addictive. What I thought was pure loathing might be the most honest thing I've ever chased.
