In this, the third novel in the Eye of Providence series, Ruben
Smith is on the run from the enemies of American democracy. A
convicted felon has been elected President of the United States
and has taken the country down the dark road of fascism.
As a retired Special Operation Officer, Smith is recalled by the
CIA to join in the hunt for a radical political faction that has
targeted political and business leaders for assassination. He is
charged with "eliminating" the threat of these amateur left-wing
assassins.
But Smith soon learns that something else is going on and that
the mission he has been ordered to take is a red herring. He has
been misled to believe the opposite of what is truly happening in
the country.
THE BILLIONAIRE PUTSCH is told largely in retrospect
from Ruben Smith's "voyage of discovery" among the tropical
bays and open ocean on his aptly named sailboat, the Lady C.
