The adventure continues in The Butterfly Road, Book Three of Axol & Mocha's Cacao Club.

After the ancient causeway begins to fail, Michelle, Axol, Mocha, and their companions find themselves following clues that no longer point toward a single lost garden. Seed boxes, hidden springs, changing currents, ancient trees, and migrating butterflies begin revealing something much larger: the old cacao gardens were never meant to survive alone.

At the Listening Cedar, Axol notices that the western spring pulses differently from the others, while warm air rises through the forest in a strange rhythm the caretakers once called the mountain's breath. When the butterflies begin climbing higher and changing their route, the Cacao Club realizes they may be responding to changes beneath the mountain long before people can see them.

Following the butterflies west leads the group toward forgotten river channels, ancient crossings, and a landscape that has been quietly reshaping itself for generations. Rivers move. Springs warm. Forests adjust. Even the paths followed by butterflies change as the living world adapts around them.

Along the way, the Cacao Club discovers that the gardeners of the past were protecting far more than cacao trees. They cared for a living network connecting forests, springs, rivers, pollinators, seeds, and people. Every part depended upon the others, and the butterflies had not abandoned the old gardens at all. They were simply trying to stay connected.
