As Mei Lin investigates the cold case with help from wealthy classmate Jian Hao, she uncovers a conspiracy involving the school janitor, Mr. Koh, and his assistant Wong Kai Ming. The investigation forces her to navigate Singapore's academic pressures, romantic feelings for a ghost, and her own identity as a scholarship student from Woodlands. Ultimately, she brings the murderers to justice, helps the ghosts find peace, and chooses a living relationship with Jian Hao while honoring Daniel's memory.
