The Encounter

Hey, y'all... I know what you're thinking: "She's been a Christian all her life; she's got it all together." But let me tell you something, this girl has flaws. Plenty. Like, plenty.

I've known Jesus all my life, thanks to my grandmother, who made sure I met Him early. My first encounter with God happened when I was just four years old in Detroit. I didn't understand what I was feeling then, only that something powerful had entered the room. That moment planted a seed that would carry me through heartbreak, struggle, and redemption. Life didn't come easy: Marriage, motherhood, mistakes. I've seen all of it.

I prayed for my husband before I even knew what love really meant. I prayed for a son, and God delivered. I tried to do life my way, and when it fell apart, I finally learned the power of surrender.

In 2022, I gave God my full yes. No more half-living, no more halfway Christian. I stopped running, stopped hiding, and started building a real relationship with the One who had never left me.

This book isn't about perfection; it's about process. It's about finding your way back to God through obedience, grace, and love. It's about letting go of religion and stepping into relationship.
