Problem is, I've never met this man before in my life.
Things just went from awkward to complicated.

After transferring to Sunnyvale University, I was ready for a fresh new start and a new identity. However, what I didn't expect was to see the person who destroyed my life and forced me to transfer schools mid-semester, to be attending Sunnyvale, too. She knows my secrets and has the power to destroy everything I've created for myself. Feeling hopeless, I worry my dream of starting over won't happen.

Everything changes when Phoenix Westgate, the Sunnyvale Hawks star player and notorious playboy kisses me at a party and calls me his girlfriend. Guys like Phoenix don't typically date girls like me. I'm not into parties and I hate being in the spotlight. But with one kiss that went viral on social media, I'm not thrust into his world whether I like it or not.

Now, suddenly people are noticing me my ex-best friend is leaving me alone. This would all be perfect if Phoenix didn't have his own motives. Needing to improve his image with his team and the media, he devises a plan for me to be his fake girlfriend.
As we begin our charade, walls crumble as emotions get mixed into our game. I'm losing sight of what is real and what's fake anymore.
