He is clear about what the chamber can do and what it cannot, and he leaves the reader with the questions worth asking before booking a single session.

About the Author

Roberto A. Ramirez is a former U.S. Navy Diver who served with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2, one of the Navy's most specialized diving commands, and at the SRF-JRMC dive locker in Yokosuka, Japan, where he worked alongside Japanese divers in a multinational team repairing and maintaining Navy ships. Between his military service and a diving career that began with his first scuba dive in 2012, he has operated inside nearly every kind of hyperbaric chamber in existence, from small monoplace units to large multiplace systems. He now works in civilian hyperbaric care, treating patients through complex or incomplete recovery. He is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Southern California, with the aim of building the structure, transparency, and standards the wellness side of the hyperbaric field still lacks.
