Led by Flint, the monolithic King of Eden, the survivors have built a fortress-city of steam and bio-metallic stone. They survive on purified water and genetically aggressive Iron Bread, turning their very skeletons into hyper-dense alloys capable of carrying the world's impossible weight.

But the real crucible has just arrived.

The Architects have returned. Watching from pristine, white-glass dreadnoughts in orbit, these high-tech gods view the colonists not as children, but as a failed experiment. The sterilization protocol has begun. The sky is closing in, and its mathematics are perfect.
