Timothy Cartwright recalls how he became a vampire by not only telling his story, but by sharing the journals of his dear friend and lover Dr. James Kensington.
In 1800's England, the world is plagued by death. Dr. James Kensington is fascinated by the thought of ending illness once and for all. His plan? To use vampirism to stop it. But when his childhood friend, the love of his life falls ill, he makes the deadly decision to turn him into a blood sucking monster, causing both their lives to fall apart.

Told in the the voices of the vampires who were brought to life by Dr. James Kensington: Timothy, Peter, and Monica tell their story of love and loss. Excerpts of James's diary bring to life the legacy of the man who made them.
