ABOUT THE SERIES:

The Man in Red is book one of the new series Crown of the Alchemist, a fantasy epic based on a Dungeons & Dragons campaign that never got to run. With five years of homebrewing and worldbuilding poured into this fully original setting, the story was initially snuffed by scheduling issues with players, and later recycled into a webcomic and novel series. The series follows a slow-burn relationship between chief alchemist Gihon Marleogne and the mysterious monster hunter Edelein von Luvemann as she seeks aid from the alchemists in restoring peace to her homeland. On a quest to quell the evil once and for all, what will become of the man destined to chain his heart to the energies of the in-between?

The series features a colorful cast of memorable characters, including witty banter that will make you feel like you're sitting at the table with the players themselves, and has a little something for everyone. The story includes boisterous villain monologues, clever out-of-the-box decision making, and some rival snark that may be hinting at something a little deeper.
