The Matzah That Saved Easter is story #2 of an upcoming series of books featuring more of Kristie and Joey's stories about family and the similarities between their religions. In this story, Kristie and the Marcus family help Rabbi Abraham prepare Matzah for Passover. Later, Kristie discovers that Reverend Jamie is in need for their Easter celebration. There are no communion wafers for service but Kristie's fast thinking saves the day with the Matzahs that she has in her backpack. The goal of the Jewish Christian Discovery Center (JCDC) is to reduce prejudice and anti-Jewish thoughts by educating Christians and Jews about their shared religious traditions. Our aim is the realization that we are all "spiritual siblings" connected by the Bible, shared history, and most significantly through our expressions of faith. The biblical message of "love your neighbor as yourself" is our primary message.
