The Rajad

The Rajad: In the Mountains of Aeyd is an epic story in search of an ancient alien race and the mystery of the Revealing. Six young adults embark on the quest but soon realize a diabolical creature hounds them. Their journey, fraught with danger, will eventually reward their efforts in the Mountains of Aeyd. Will discovering the mystery behind the Revealing prove all that they hoped for or turn out to be beyond their wildest imaginations? And once they know the truth behind what it entails, will the Revealing require a sacrifice that is too great to give?

The book comprises a cast of characters. If not for the following main actors, there would be no story in search of the Rajad and the mystery of the Revealing.

Vedra-An elderly gypsy seeking a haven for her and her lifelong companion. Willing to make an unholy alliance, how much dark magic is she prepared to conjure to ensure that end?

Djana-A woman, who bore an unwanted child to gain status and privilege; an unscrupulous woman willing to murder to obtain her ultimate desire. With every evil step she plans, she draws closer to madness. Will she step over the threshold willfully, or will it take a slight push?

Tregan-A man willing to kill, a puppet on strings his lover manipulates. When he comes to question his beliefs and love, does he escape the clutches of yet another scheme or become an unwilling accomplice?

Shanath-A young queen, unloved and unwanted, flees her mother and the fortress where all but the servants are pustules of deceit. On a journey with newfound friends, she discovers she is hounded by a beast bent on her death. Forced to battle the monster, will a magic potion leave her forever changed?

Drake-An orphan whose skill is slight-of-hand. Yearning for a life beyond thieving has him heed a gut feeling. Will he obtain all that he wished for, or will his search for a better life lead him beyond his world and toward the unknown?

Kugn-A monster whose spirit is reawakened from the bowels of the afterlife. Brought forth to seek out and destroy a young queen, the monster leaves a path of destruction. Will magic be its undoing or will it take an unexpected turn of events to send it back from whence it came?

Gwelyn-A young peasant woman forced into darkness by blindness. She yearns for a life free from poverty and dependency. Trusting an ancient text, she discovers the mystery behind what it portends. Will she become forever changed or shy away from making the ultimate sacrifice?
