This prayer was discovered during the 50th year of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Pope sent it to Emperor Charles in 1505 as he was about to go into battle. Whoever reads, hears, or keeps this prayer with them will never die suddenly, drown, be poisoned, fall into the hands of the enemy, be burned in a fire, or be defeated in battle.
